It’s crucial to get an annual MOT for your kit, to keep it working and sounding like new. Your drums may look ok, but the kit consists of hundreds of small components – each of which gets worn down – so parts need replacing over time. Dirt also builds up, which affects sound quality. And like any instrument, your drum kit needs a good tune-up at least once a year. A professional drum service from Drum Plan will have you covered.
We’ll take care of everything for you in a single visit – leaving your kit in optimum condition, and leaving you free to get on with your day.

Not sure what you need?
No problem – just book a drum service – we can assess on arrival.
If it’s a simple drum repair that you need, without a drum service, we can also help. We charge £70 for the first hour and then £30 for every hour thereafter. If you require parts, these will be charged separately and added to your bill. Contact us for a quote.
How we work
Each drum service takes approximately two hours to complete, and we’re very tidy.
We only recommend replacing parts if they are genuinely needed.
We use only the highest quality materials. Drumheads are Remo or Evans brand, and you can choose between either clear or coated drumheads.
We know that drummers sometimes have very specific requirements. So if you need an alternative brand just let us know in advance and we’ll source it for you (if a supplement applies, we’ll always let you know beforehand).
Our three drum service options cover most customers’ needs, but there may be occasions when additional parts are needed to get your kit back to full health. If this is the case, we’ll outline the extra costs and confirm them with you before any work is done.
If you need someone on hand to help whenever things go wrong with your drum kit, join our free membership scheme. Simply sign up when we arrive to complete your drum service, and you’ll enjoy a 10% discount on all future parts, labour and servicing.

It’s vital to complete regular drum servicing, to make sure your kit is providing students with the best possible sound and playing experience.
